Healing is available in our backyard. If Big Pharma profits off our sickness and creates dependency by treating symptoms, we have every right to go straight to the source when it comes to healing - the plants they create these drugs from. As a kinesthetic learner, my love of drawing plants has grown as I learn more about them and their healing properties.

Since then, I had the opportunity to share this love of herbal remedies with others through paint and sips! I turned on some Lofi jazz, and we talked about the different ways we saw our elders support their health through their kitchens and gardens. Traveling abroad has put a halt to these events, but it’s given me space to work on my next project - adult coloring books. There’s a sneak peek below, and so much more to come!
